Such a good boy!
Surfer has been doing incredible work on his mind this year. He's willing to entertain that he and K can be a team while riding, That it's not a fight or grinning and bearing it. He feels heard and respected. Makes a difference.

A fundraising update: We're slowly getting there. We've received an additional monthly donation of $100 per month. We're now only $2K in monthly donations away from making up loss of donors due to job loss, medical bills and the LA fires. 20 at $100, 40 at $50, or 80 at $25 per month gets it done.

Pie has learned that diva behavior doesn't get her confections. She's going through a renaissance now that her body fitness has changed for the better since she got herself hung up on the pasture gate. Go figure.

Well, at least he’s not throwing that tantrum in e.g., a long grocery line (those of you who have/have had toddlers know of which I write!)
The dust following a tantrum by Nileist over not getting a carrot after he did not come in for a tail conditioning. Hackleton did come in for a tail conditioning and got his carrot.

Yes.
It’s not a great deal if you don’t need it. And especially this year, others really need support. So for all of us who have enough, let’s refuse to get sucked into the holiday shopping frenzy and share instead of shop. We don’t need more stuff, we need communities where all our neighbors are safe.

Sure didn’t slow down this Administration. Not to mention the GHG emitted by thousands of people flying in from all over the planet.
The EPA is rolling back protections for wetlands, narrowing the reach of the Clean Water Act. Several wildlife agencies also advanced measures to limit the Endangered Species Act. The federal government also moved to permit new oil and gas drilling in coastal waters. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/22/c...
