tbh carlo was 100% an angry, sad, angsty kid/teen. i def headcanon him BPD (or am perhaps just projecting), specially given the abandonment issues

turning carmeo into unhealthy codependence from carlo (and romeo simply being too naive to understand) is honestly really interesting to explore too
