but a lot of the time we make art precisely to connect with others i think, because we people want to be heard and seen

well some pieces do remain hidden sometimes, at least in my case. not because i'm ashamed or anything but because there are some conversations i'm only interested in having with myself. it is a form of expression, but you don't always want an audience ✨ like when you hit your toe and yell AJSJASJ

making art for oneself, curating and sharing it for human connection. both are equally important and necessary as an artist imo
