I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.

Just heard from someone who works at a pharmaceutical company that the company is laying EVERYONE off & if people want to keep their jobs they have to reapply as subcontractors so that the company no longer has to provide benefits. The reason? Increase in health insurance premiums. 😳

Wanna shout out to our local Hannaford grocery stores who donate unsold food to our local food bank. Walmart will arrest people for dumpster diving but Hannaford not only doesn't waste food but uses it to feed the poor. We get bread, pastries, and meats every 2 weeks and it helps so much.
