This kind of disgusting behavior toward vulnerable grad workers on visas is incredibly common, and one of the reasons why strong grad workers unions are necessary
Summers conferred with Epstein frequently about how to extract sexual favors from a Harvard econ grad (AB '04, PhD '09)

The grad is from China

Epstein and Summers referred to her by the codename "Peril"

Racism and sexual exploitation in one efficient package

The absolute misogynistic delusion of claiming women don't succeed in academia because they aren't that smart is bad enough, but Larry Summers was also asking Epstein for advice on harassing a woman under the guise of mentorship. www.thecrimson.com/article/2025...

Remember when the AMA was against the Obamacare public option? They’re Olympic gold medalists in being wrong
Tomorrow, the AMA is giving a platform to Dr. Oz — CMS Administrator destroying Medicare and Medicaid.

Residents can’t freely dissent or the AMA will punish them.

This isn’t “dialogue.” It’s coercion.

We wrote the position statement the AMA won’t.

Hearing a rumor that NIH/HHS may now plan to retaliate against other Bethesda Declaration signers.

I am one, but it’s not about me: we have been speaking out because of the ongoing damage to US medical research, cancer and Alzheimer’s research.

Now a national news story as it must be, @jenna-m-norton.bsky.social placed on admin leave; not a household name for her title but should be for her courage to speak out in *her personal capacity* in defense of NIH's mission via The Bethesda Declaration and beyond.

🚨🚨 @jenna-m-norton.bsky.social is a force. Her voice carries power, truth, and courage—threats to the regime.

The only thing authoritarians fear more than a voice they cannot control is a chorus. So let’s give them one: speak up, speak loudly, and don’t stop. Stand with Jenna. ✊🇺🇸
Trump’s HHS put me on “non-disciplinary” admin leave today. This was retaliation for speaking up. Moves like this are designed to silence us. Let’s not let.

I guess I am hitting a nerve, because they just put me on admin leave.

Help:

We have developed an organoid model of diabetic neuropathy.

It has oligodendrocytes, myelin, and adding diabetic stimuli makes them lose myelination, and break down mitochondria.

Further yet, we show this can be prevented with pharmacological intervention.

Which foundations may like this?

It is easy for Senate Democrats to disabuse us of that assumption — they just have to publicly make the popular call for new leadership.

I’d believe any of this if Pete 1) endorsed or congratulated Mamdani at any point or 2) called for Schumer to resign
From street marches to court battles to the ballot box - we’ve challenged the power of this exceptionally unpopular president.

The lesson from each success we've had is that we need to ramp the political pressure up, always up, not back down, now more than ever.

New from me in @newrepublic.com: “Primary Every Democrat.”

If the current crop cannot demonstrate they care more about democracy than enjoying three-day weekends, we should flood the zone and challenge them all.
Primary Every Democrat
It’s exhausting to watch poll-tested, donor-beholden congressional Democrats continue to be too old, too cloistered, and too bumbling to do anything as the government burns.

The senate dems’ pathetic capitulation wasted everyone’s time and effort. Schumer needs to resign, and everyone who voted for this needs to be primaried
As I've always said, I will not support a government funding bill that continues to raise our costs, jeopardizes our health care, and hurts the people of my state.
