I don't know whether the case against Bolton has any chance. But even if it doesn't, Trump gets a kick out of this stuff. He gets to have a fight with someone who has told the world he's an idiot. Trump gets to use public money, but he knows Bolton will be burning thru his own money.

Every day there is startling evidence of MAGA child abusers.
MAGA people continue as before. Largely unaware (I mean Fox isn't going to mention it). Indifferent when they do hear.

He really is such a naive stupid ignorant kid. He really thought that this was the end of the problems in the Middle East? Did anyone else think that?
He helped bring about a ceasefire, and that's not nothing. But he is frittering away the credit for that by mislabelling it as a conclusion.

I'm finding it hard not to wish I was a student at Bath University in 1968 with a couple of pounds in my pocket. Bite to eat, go to see Led Zeppelin, couple of drinks on the way home, walk down to Pulteney Bridge and look at the water.

I can understand how a party leader has to keep shoring up one consituency (in this case the "red wall" which went Brexit and is now vulnerable to Reform) at the risk of antagonising another (anti-Brexit cities).
I agree that he should ignite the "damage from Brexit" conversation though.

Jeffries should absolutely refuse to pivot to new subjects before Johnson has answered. He should also accuse Mike of bogus religiosity given his compliance with Trump's deep immorality and cruelty.
Amidst a shutdown, given the right prep, Jeffries can wound the GOP.

Debate is a good thing. It's partly an opportunity to discuss, partly a game about winning. I hope Jeffries is well-prepped.
Johnson's armor is smug dishonestly. He relies too much on "I didn't see that". When cornered, it's "America doesn't want to talk about gossip, what's important is..". 1/2
