LA Dodgers just ended an 18-inning World Series game. Thankfully everyone's too tired to riot.

Under Mike Johnson, the House has conducted just 20 days of business in the last 16 weeks and refused to swear in Democrat Adelita Grijalva.

Don't forget what this is really about: keeping the release of the Epstein Files at bay.

Every dodged question, every ‘I’m not familiar with that,’ proves Mike Johnson’s strategy: pretend ignorance while Americans lose healthcare and rights.
Q: Getting back to the Jeffries threat, this is one of a number of J6 pardons that's been rearrested. Did Trump make a mistake?

JOHNSON: I don't know any of the details. I'll tell you the violence on the left is far more prevalent than on the right. The rhetoric that you saw Saturday plays into it

Literally demolishing presidential history and the space the First Lady occupies.
And of course it comes with a broken promise not to interfere with the existing structure.
The East Wing was first added in 1942, under Franklin D. Roosevelt, primarily to provide office space for the First Lady’s staff and to conceal a newly built underground bunker known as the Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) during World War II.

After spending 43 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, evidence hidden by the prosecution reversed his conviction. Rather than finally enjoying freedom, ICE abducted him for deportation

Heartbroken because I'm certain he's neither the first, nor will he be the last.

Heartbroken because cops of all flavors have always been dangerous to Autistic people, and especially Autistic BIPOC.
ICE secretly kidnap autistic boy during bathroom break—never notify parents.

Mother reported him missing a week ago—turns out ICE had him detained the whole time.

He was helping sell fruit and asked to go to the restroom—by the time she was done helping a customer he was gone.

Not really an overstatement to say that the test of a free society is whether or not comedians can make fun of the country's leader on TV without repurcussions.

First Colbert, now Kimmel.

Last-minute settlements, secret side deals, multi-billion dollar mergers pending Donald Trump's approval.

Trump silencing free speech stifles our democracy. It sure looks like giant media companies are enabling his authoritarianism.

IMPORTANT PERSPECTIVE: What I have not seen anyone discussing is that Nexstar pulling Kimmel, forcing ABC’s hand, comes as Nexstar is leading the way for the industry on trying to get FCC approval for media consolidation. www.poynter.org/business-wor...

The proposed sale would exceed the FCC’s 39% cap, igniting debate among broadcasters, unions and press groups

Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars.

OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.

Medicare will start requiring prior approval for certain procedures — and will hire private AI companies to determine if patients are covered.

The AI companies would have financial incentives to deny claims, because Medicare plans to pay them some of the savings from rejections.
