Purdue is beating Ohio State after 1 quarter because they’re clearly a better and more historically relevant football program

The Purdue offense for years has been about using ball movement to turn good shots into great shots and ramping up efficiency. When it works it’s a thing of beauty.
The problem with “process over results” is when you have a #1 next to your name and have a bad shooting night…

Club Brugge thought they had won it in stoppage time against Barcelona having taken the lead for the fourth time.
Romeo Vermant dispossessed Wojciech Szczesny before finishing into an empty net - but Vermant was adjudged by VAR to have tripped the goalkeeper in the process.

I am a huge believer that the best attempts at subterfuge (be it trick plays or other clandestine outcomes) have the fewest people involved. The fewer people involved, the fewer potential breakdowns in the operation.

The art of faking out your own team
Minnesota intentionally confused its own offense ... and it worked! PLUS picking through the pieces of Hugh Freeze's doomed tenure, Gunner Stockton winning for his grandfather, and more!

We voted over the weekend so no sticker picture. But Ohio gave out “Future Ohio Voter” stickers to kids and it made my daughter’s day when she got it.

I legitimately do not understand the people that are mad about how this season is going.
The baseline competency is way better than it was. They compete. They’re fun to watch! The schedule is tough, but there a couple plays from 4-4.

I am impressed by how non-terrible Purdue is this season

-Valerie using her lightsaber (she was Rey) as the light for all her friends
-seeing 4 teenagers in inflatable dinosaur costumes all together (and the dog we were with growling at then)
-all the dads asking about the work done to houses this summer…
