Thank you! It's my first chandelier quilt. I was probably overthinking for something low stakes. I just wanted something easy to make at a 3-day retreat, and there was a separate art-along prompt for autumn vibes. I don't know who in my life will get this one 😆 but was fun to make.

Alright #QuiltSky I wrestled this onto my design wall with a sore arm. I plan to sleep overnight to think on it, before sewing rows in the morning. Does anyone see any big level wrong prints on the layout? I know the top near-left block is missing a small, in which I'm putting in a substitute.

Chandelier style quilt blocks on a design wall, beige background. Fabric colors and prints are autumn-color-themed, along with a teal with autumnal words such as: hay rides, apples, autumn pumpkins, Fall. Not relevant to the quilt design, quilted letter spelling LEARN along the top of the design wall (which is just a plastic sheet).

After the first day, did about half of the blocks. Finished the rest on second day, and excited to get it on the design wall.

Spent most of yesterday prepping for the start of quilt retreat today. I'm going to make an autumnal chandelier quilt.

An assortment of 10 autumn-themed fabrics, 5" squares, with some smaller 2.5" squares, same fabrics. There are stacks of beige rectangles, 2.5" x 5" & 2.5" x 7". A rotary cutter lays nearby. All on grey cutting mat background.

I finally got around to putting up my @abluskittle.bsky.social art. I accidentally pealed some of the matte off of the frame, so I patched it with some leafy scrap fabric and double sided tape, and I think it looks great even better.

Great time tonight. I smiled the whole time. Held back tears at first but definitely wept at the end. I loved seeing people dressed in Cosplay, dressed up for fanciness, and a bunch of cottagecore cozy farmers! #StardewConcert #StardewValley

I LOVE prints, so I've been looking for a good pattern to showcase my favorites prints. This one was an experiment, using fabric from my guild's offer table, and I learned so many things that I'll do for the next time!

20 vibrant floral fabric squares with on two adjacent sides of accent fabric with white background and smaller squares breaking up into 4s on diagonal corners. The 4 squares are 2 solid, 2 floral. Not relevant to the purpose but in the picture of this design wall: fabric letters spelling LEARN along the top, a scrappy fabric ginger cat face in the corner, a few turquoise fabric rectangles that say Hello and two sunflowers, and the earlier square of a bee on a flower.

I did this Kelli Fannin quilt block in about 3.5 hours. Art prompt due next week, "Orange Exuberance". I chose batik-adjacent fabric to give life and texture to the "paint" or action of painting, while the equipment and background "canvas" is solid/plain. Best fabric for bristles, wow. #QuiltSky.

A @jamesbbarrow.bsky.social art along 2-week prompt recently was "Crimson Solitude" I used a Kelli Fannin free block pattern to make this poppy flower. The red was remnant of a FQ, the rest were scraps. #ArtSky #QuiltSky
