One of the earliest examples of bar jokes is
Sumerian (c. 4500-1900 BC), and it features a dog: "A dog walked into a tavern and said, 'I can't see a thing. I'll open this one'." The humor of it is probably related to the Sumer way of life and has been lost, but the words remain. (1]

Just to drive home the absolute insanity of this, this is 6% of global gdp.

The wealth is held by 0.000005% of the global population.

This is the same ratio of the weight of a single strand of my hair compared to the 100kg of my body.
Don't need too many guillotines for that lot.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

Luxon abolished the Govt fund to help industry decarbonise, as he said he didn’t want to subsidise them and carbon price signals were the answer. Then he gave $200m for more fossil fuel exploration and abolished price signals for agribusiness, the biggest polluter.
