The reason the right is forming in solidarity with the group chat that got leaked is because almost all of them have said far worse in the DMs, and know they could be next. A sarcastic "I love Hitler" is nothing compared to the Auschwitz fantasies your average right wing pundit has.

One of my favorite things is to state something that's generally true, but I don't have the complete picture as an autodidact, and it outrages an underappreciated academic with self-loathing who fights me on it, calling me names, and we synthesize the fuller picture and it makes them even angrier.

I don't know anything about marketing besides what I've learned from Mad Men, but I sense the way to push OBAA would have been to capture the tension of the chase scene at the end by making it something in the with The Chromatics Ticking or the Clock from the Drive soundtrack. Taut, subtle.
