Well I've seen ~52% reported, as an increase of just over 1% from 2021.

But if the CBC tally is correct, that would be an almost 12% increase in raw numbers. So the number of eligible voters would have to increase a surprising amount to have that result in only 1% increase in turnout.

I'm seeing different numbers regarding turnout from yesterday's NL election.

A CBC says in a recap video that there was an increase of ~9,000 votes.

VOCM reports Elections NL, showing an increase of ~13,000 votes.

If you add up these totals from CBC's website, there is an increase of ~21,000.

CBC projecting a PC “government” — reasonable given it seems likely they’ll secure either 20 or 21 seats.

Reminder - as we watch results from NL election - that even if PCs secure more seats than Libs, John Hogan will remain Premier & would have first opportunity to test confidence of House.

If PCs lead but remain below 20 seats, it's very possible we'd have a Liberal govenment continue.

CBC has shown them reasonably often. These appear the ones still in play:

There are other very close results but counting is done.
