Saying "life isn't fair" is propaganda. "Life" isn't fair because life is nature and it relies on unpredictable forces to distribute resources. But HUMANS *could* create fair systems if we wanted to. We don't want to, though, so we tell this story that we CAN'T do or expect fairness.
