The show is a game- an old theory.
But see what happened is the original player group was a bunch of "straight guys" and one cis girl.
It's the same six people but its now five girls and a gay guy. The cis gal and the gay guy are still playing thier original characters.

Different for theme and meaning but for guessing plot I try to rein it in.
