I grew up evangelical. when i got to college and started investigating the faith for myself, and really reading the gospels, i found a Jesus who loved the poor and disaffected in a way I wasn't used to.

When i studied history, I found that Jesus in the Catholic Church and was compelled to join

I've posted about it before but while I was a minister there were so many young men who approached me about becoming Catholic, but when i told them they should start with prayer and reading scripture, they abandoned their endeavor

I will pray a Latin office for their sake
