Honestly, can I be the Canadian Ambassador to the U.S. for a day?

I won't even take any pay.

Just let me tell my American counterpart to go fuck his own face and take a long leap off a short pier.

Then I'll resign and go eat Kraft Dinner at home.

The Netflix & Warner deal may be the deathknell for physical releases of a lot of entertainment.

As consumers, we should be raging at how much we pay for what little we own.

There are so many great series and films stuck behind perpetual paywalls.

Of course, Doug Ford is pro-ICE.

The man loves authoritarianism and anti-democratic measures after all.

@maritstilesndp.bsky.social, call this out and demand this deal ends. I do not want my province fueling an authoritarian secret police down south.

I swear maybe once a decade in public, and this is the moment. This fucking racist and all the gibbering racists nodding along behind him are the ruination of our country. Our fucking job for the next fucking year is to fucking destroy them in the next election. Fuck them.

this raccoon is really emotionally resonating with everybody
The masked burglar broke into the closed Virginia liquor store early on Saturday and hit the bottom shelf. The bandit was something of a nocturnal menace: bottles were smashed and alcohol pooled on the floor.

The suspect acted like an animal because, in fact, he's a raccoon.

Canada in no way, shape, or form should ever fund or supply the Washington Regime in tormenting their own citizens and cities.

Canadians should be calling to end this deal and help our southern cousins in abolishing ICE.

Love this message @avilewis.ca.

Worker co-op steel mills or nationalizing ones at risk means we can prioritize them towards actual nation-building and keep folks working.

Imagine that. Worker-led economics fueling public infrastructure and vital public upgrades & projects.

This is my NDP. Damn. 😃
2/ No option, including public or worker ownership, should be off the table to protect these community-supporting jobs. Worker ownership saved this mill from closure in the 1990s, and it can help save our steel industry today.

Honestly, @avilewis.ca seems to be tapping into a voice that I haven't heard in the federal NDP in a long time.

Positioning the NDP as left-wing and anti-neoliberal once more w a democratic socialist message is nice to hear. Also climate policy!

People must drive the party, not consultancy firms.

It feels like we're on the verge of another 2008-style recession that could've been avoided. Especially here in North. Ont. 0 housing in my small town, mining remains the only stable employer. Healthcare + education are dying.

Preventable, but we need market intervention and big ideas. Not neolibs.
