There’s a song on his new album about the moisturizer he uses…

doing this once is fun and awesome, deciding to just make it your thing is diabolical behavior

I don’t mind a beyond/impossible burger in like a cookout setting, but I hate that they’re crowding out actual veggie burgers.
Ugh. This was somehow not even on my radar. Love both Béla and Antonio Sanchez.
First concert: Billy Joel, Civic Arena, 1999

Last concert: Hand Habits, the Warhol, tonight

Best concert: It might be recency bias, but I really think it was David Byrne at the Benedum two weeks ago.
First concert: Kenny Loggins, Civic Arena, he opened the roof, 1988(?)

Last concert: Stop Making Sense in Its Entirety, two Saturdays ago, amazing

Best concert: Nine Inch Nails, Cleveland, 8/31/25, beating out Radiohead in Oxford 7/7/2001. Holy shit that Nine Inch Nails show was incredible.
first actual concert: the 4 tops & righteous brothers (taken by my parents, but I loved it)
first concert I wanted to go to: janet jackson rhythm nation 1814
last concert: alabama shakes
Well that makes me regret not making the last minute decision to see NIN.
I think Aaron’s saying the poster wrote the “explanatory” part, and the bot labeled it as misleading because the explanatory part isn’t true.
Guys, Bluesky doesn't have moderation notes. So if you see one, it was added by the poster himself as part of the post.
I realize my non-NWSL fan followers may think I’m announcing that tomorrow is a holiday, but I’m just celebrating some exciting goal scoring.
A new PTA film and a Jeff Tweedy triple album in the same weekend? It’s too much!
Post a concert picture you took.

Sleater-Kinney, Mr. Smalls, 2024
I had a great time. Probably going to try making an annual trip of this.
And because I think it’s always cool seeing how cartoonists sign things:
Got lots of (perhaps too much?) new stuff, too.
Drove over to Columbus yesterday for Cartoon Crossroads, and I had a blast. I had books signed by Charles Burns and Derf.
I’ve seen several of these folks over the last week or so, and I wonder how they aren’t all puddles of sweat.

kind of nuts how many comics cried about censorship when asked to stop demonizing trans people... wonder where all the champions of free speech are, now that their peers are muzzled by the federal government for hurting the president's feelings.
I wish no ill upon Temwa, who I love, but I’d be lying if I said this doesn’t have me breathing a little easier tonight 😅
Also, I know it’s tough for independent comic and zine publishers, and you don’t want to pass an opportunity to get your work in front of people, but maybe think twice about the message participating in an event like this sends to your fans, especially women.
This week of all weeks, it should be clear that we can express remorse at senseless death without lionizing bad people.
I’ve been biting my tongue all week, but it’s not sitting well with me that a large contingent of the Pittsburgh comics community is spending the weekend honoring the legacy of a sex pest who decided to victimize his accusers in his suicide note.
