Good morning with good news: "The median range of all-electric vehicles for model year 2024 reached a record high of 283 miles per charge."

That is up 13 miles from 2023 and ~4 times higher than the median range for 2011.

BlueSky is now tracked by @altmetric.com! For many people it may not matter, but for acadamics this is huge! Another step towards making BlueSky a relevant platform to share and discuss research. Also: beautiful dark blue color, see example of recently published paper below 😉 #academicsky

This is what I wanted out of the other site all along.
this is one of my favorite custom feeds, Quiet Posters

it shows you posts from people you follow who don't post that much! so it surfaces friends' posts that might otherwise get drowned out in the Following feed (which is reverse chronological) 🤗

We got through that and we’ll get through this

💡 Tip: You can set your website as your username on Bluesky!

This is one form of self-verification, and we especially encourage official organizations and brands to do this! Examples include @npr.org @react.dev @duolingobrasil.com.br.

That’s good to hear. The experience my family had in the 90s was traumatic. Not as bad as some, but enough.

I’m reading this well into my 2nd hour to get a verified state government-issued ID, because using my losing my federal government issued ID would be too much of a hassle to us it on the daily, but sure…let’s give more trust to the people who gave us “the food pyramid”
You do understand the government should be supplying public health info we shouldn't have to rely on trading tips on social media for safety, tracking the sewage independently, measuring how much cold medicine is on the shelf or reading scented candle reviews? Ok just so we know that.
