I put this boy down for bed last night 20 minutes earlier than normal and then he wakes up and hour and a half earlier?!!!!??

Had chicken nuggets and sweet potatoes for the boys for dinner and Lennox saw it and said “Daddy I would like salmon and sweet potato please”
Normally I’d go black parent and say this is what it is. But he really has a preference so I hooked him up. He ate that AND his nuggets. They growing fast.

Yesterday I cooked dinner for the boys. Smothered turkey wings, rice and black-eyed peas. It was a staple in my Mama’s rotation of comfort meals.
The boys loved it and even had seconds. Felt like she was there for a few minutes while we ate.
It’s the little things that bring comfort. 🙏🏾
