The modernized Afghan Model. SOF plus airpower defeated the Taliban only for the conventional forces to lose war. Add in poor L2 from the Russo-Ukraine war and Armenian-Azeri conflict. This way, they get rid of all conventional forces so everything is SOF.

I had to get my Congressman involved and was permanently disqualified from military service. I eventually got a waiver and served 22 years, deploying six times.

If only 8% of enlistments don't require a waiver, then we need to assess what artificial gates exist that prevent qualified applicants.

I never had TikTok...for reasons; but after the performative shutdown and resurrection, I would be very leary of whatever "deal" keeps it available in the US market.

We need data privacy legislation and media literacy requirements in K-12 education; not censorship.
