It's been three years since this tragedy on Grounds, and three years in a row that the delegates from the Gun Lobby and Gov. Gun Lobby defeated bills to prohibit firearms in campus buildings, which can be a violation of college policy but isn't illegal in Virginia.

My parents were federal employees and today I'm a state employee. Shutdowns uniquely hurt Virginia's economy and families. Attacks on the federal workforce are an attack on working Americans who make our government function.
Government shutdowns disproportionately hurt Virginians — regardless of party affiliation.

A Concealed Carry Mandate would force each state to allow people from other states to carry hidden, loaded guns in public—even in states that wouldn’t otherwise let them. We can’t let that happen.

Text GUT to 644-33 and tell your lawmakers to oppose this legislation.

The law would force all states to recognize concealed carry permissions from anywhere else in the country, and would be highly dangerous for civilians and law enforcement.
