I work in theatre and have lately been taking spare books of mine and sticking them on the shelves in the lobby.

I scanned the shelves this morning and found that quite a few have been taken. Really happy that these books are getting second lives, rather than gathering dust on my shelves.

I’ve been thinking about the 3rd Doctor adventures a lot lately, actually.

Especially Primord: essentially a sequel to Inferno! And we see the Doc and Jo going to visit an old friend… Liz Shaw! Feels like this episode should’ve been in the classic series. It was sad how Liz just vanished.

Morning walk was a bit groggy this morning. Hope I’m not coming down with something (again.)

Listened to the first hour of The Annihilators — an impulse buy after I loved the Lost Stories audio ‘Death World.’

I love this team. Sometimes I forget it’s not the original actors.

Listening to The Haunting of Thomas Brewster on my morning walk!

Enjoying it so far, I love the talk of fog as I’m walking through fog.

I only checked these ones out because I needed to know who Brewster was before my next 6 and Evelyn adventure, but I dig it.

Listening to Big Finish’s The Next Life!

I recall listening to this one when I bought it back in 2013, but I hadn’t yet listened to any other 8 and Charley stories.

No wonder I didn’t know what was going on (I barely know what’s going on now 😅)

Sometimes you get that with big finish - the plots are often so convoluted that if you zone out for 3 minutes, you’re done for 😅

Nearing the end of the Divergent arc with Caerdroia!

This one seems like a lot of fun so far! Different at least from the usual “the TARDIS team are relegated to background characters so we can learn about some strange people’s strange alt-universe customs.”

Basically “what would a joint investigation between Connelly’s Harry Bosch and Christie’s Miss Marple look like.”

And I have to say it’s one of the most fun books I’ve ever read.

It feels like it was written just for me.

Listening to The Last — I’m at the tail end of the divergent universe!

I’ll be glad it’s over. There’s been some fun stories and ideas there, but my favourite episodes tend to be set in Earth’s past, so I’m clamouring for more of those.

So after a week of debating, I decided to purchase Big Finish’s Planet Kryptoid…

But first I thought “I’ll lash Seeds of Doom on so I can see who the Kryptoids are”

It’s not on iPlayer due to some rights issue.

I wish Big Finish had a thing on their site that told you what episodes need to be watched before getting one of their audios.

Listening to Dalek Protocol and feel like I’m missing out a lot, because I’ve never seen Day of the Daleks.

Actually blown away by @timatack.bsky.social’s Salvation Nine. Made for a perfect morning walk.

The Sontarans are closer to Ewoks in this fun, entertaining story. Exactly what the Ninth Doctor range should be. Might even be my favourite 9th Doctor audio so far.
