anyone who's familiar with how graf behaves both towards his devs and towards.. well, anyone he talks to shouldn't be surprised by this. he's a power-hungry control freak who has to do everything his way or else. i quit using gzdoom years ago and haven't looked back.

The short version: the Gzdoom team has finally had enough of Graf Zhal's shit (including but not limited to pushing AI code into Gzdoom).

The entire team has packed up and made a new fork of Gzdoom.

NES games are so funny. 90% of them are ugly as hell and held together by scotch tape and dreams and people will still try to tell you they're bangers while the game decides to flash strobe lights in your face every five minutes
