The regime that spent over $200 MILLION of YOUR taxpayer dollars on private jets for Kristi Noem doesn't think you should get reimbursed for a canceled flight or lost luggage.

Our neighbors in the Duwamish Valley have 13 years cut off of their life expectancy already thanks to living in the most polluted neighborhood in Seattle. It’s appalling that an agency would even consider this.
The Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition is organizing a protest this Friday at the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency Headquarters. which is considering allowing unlimited tire burning in the Duwamish Valley. Read more: www.drcc.org/clean-air-pr...

Imagine making a general point about the Democratic PARTY as a whole, disabling your quotes and replies to prevent the weirdos from commenting, and then having a smug dude with nearly 1M followers miss the point in an attempt to dunk on you.

Reposting this 🧵 thread since apparently Seattle is still dying or whatever according to the Washington Post.
Like all good propaganda there is a kernel of truth in that Seattle really has struggled with homelessness, but not because of what they suggest. We’ve been one of the fastest growing cities in the country for over a decade and our housing supply and services haven’t scaled with that

I cannot express how important it is for anyone going through a secured checkpoint like TSA to make sure thier phone is in BFU (Before First Unlock) mode. To enter this state: reboot your phone and don't unlock it.

In BFU mode all data is encrypted and your phone requires a passcode to unlock.
I was just asked for my phone (to swipe the outside for whatever) for the 1st time during a “random” TSA extra screening for a domestic flight - i told them i didn’t consent to a search of the phone, made sure there were no notifications visible & it was locked and didn’t let it out of my sight…

Seattle used to fund so much transit service until covid (and jenny durkan)

In 2019, almost 75% of the city lived within walking distance of a bus every 10 mins or better. Today, it's only like 50%!

Time to get the buses running again!

A new Harvard study—the first large-scale comparison of Amazon, UPS & FedEx drivers—shows what worker power really means:

🔴 Amazon: ~$19/hr, no raises, high turnover.
🟢 UPS (union): ~$35/hr, steady wage growth, long careers.

Same job. Different power.
