I don’t have much faith in movie adaptations for video games, so I don’t expect anything great.

But Horizon’s story is legitimately so good and the world is incredible. It *could* be something special if they fire on all cylinders.

I loved this game as a kid, despite it constantly being talked about as one of the worst video games ever crafted nowadays. 😭
And the new leaks indicate Legends already has another installment planned down the line : )
I’m really glad they’re continuing the ‘Pokémon Legends’ series of games. I’ve fallen off of the mainline games pretty hard, but Legends: Arceus was probably my favorite Pokémon game since X/Y.

Probably won’t get Z-A at launch, but excited for it down the line!

I can’t believe they post this kind of thing unironically lol
This game looks insanely cool.
Skate through the underworld and devour the Moon.
SKATE STORY is coming to Nintendo Switch 2.
A lot of the conversation surrounding Expedition 33 has been diluted by fandom nonsense and people not playing many JRPGs before it.

Expedition 33 isn’t some revolutionary game. It doesn’t do anything wildly unique. But it does everything it aims for at an immaculate quality.

One of the GOATs.
In April we released Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

5 months later, we’ve sold 5 million copies worldwide!

Since then, your artwork, your stories, your cosplays and your endless creativity has been loved and appreciated by all of us.

And for that we cannot thank you enough.
Yeah, I think my brain just doesn’t allow me to *not* try and play every job. It’s definitely mostly just a ‘me thing’ and how I function when playing games.

Agrias has been great and I’ve just kept her as a Holy Knight since joining the party.
I much prefer the more simplistic, but still decently customizable approach that Fire Emblem has in this regard, I think.
I’m liking Final Fantasy Tactics quite a bit (especially the writing), but I *am* feeling overwhelmed constantly by how much micromanagement is involved.

I think a lot of people would love how you can change jobs whenever and swap around abilities & equipment, but I’m just overwhelmed by it.

Four RPG’s to get to know me!
Hope you’ve been well, Mark!
I honestly think my only real personal complaint with it is that the enemy designs suck. They’re just so bland and maybe the general art style feels a bit cookie-cutter / bland as well.

But I adored it otherwise. I actually like it *more* than both Retro-developed DKC games, which feels crazy lol.
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair!

Lots of people assumed it was a DLC or add-on for the original Yooka-Laylee, but it’s not. It’s a legitimate Donkey Kong Country type of platformer with a really great, top-down Zelda-like overworld.

It’s such a great game.
Excited to play Final Fantasy Tactics for the first time ever tomorrow.

I haven’t played Sekiro, but 100% agree about Elden Ring. I was so pleasantly surprised by the generous run back situations in that game lol
I think boss run backs are generally just boring time-wasters made to “punish” players for failing, which is kinda dumb to me.

*But*, if these tough games are gonna have run backs, I think Silksong incorporating actual meaningful gameplay into the run back is the best way I’ve seen it implemented.
I don’t totally disagree. If it were up to me, none of these games would ever have significant run backs and checkpoints would be outside of every boss room.

But I guess it just moreso puzzles me from FromSoftware fans’ perspectives, considering how I view run backs in those games to be much worse.
Silksong’s platforming is fun. Arguably my favorite part of the game is how much more they focused on precision-platforming in this one.

And turning boss run backs into platforming challenges is a much better way to do it than any FromSoftware run back I’ve ever encountered.
The run backs to boss fights typically annoy me in Soulslikes because you’re just… running for a while to get back there. You’re not doing anything engaging to return.

But this specific walk back in Silksong involves tight platforming. It actually presents a gameplay challenge to do it.
The infamous walk back to the ‘Last Judge’ boss fight in Hollow Knight: Silksong is interesting to me.

I’ve seen a lot of criticism for it, and many claiming it’s brutal and badly designed. But I pretty strongly disagree.

I played about 10 more hours after this, so idk. I stopped at some point in Act III just because I felt done with it.
