Replayed the latter half of the game and it is so. much. more. interesting. if you betray+kill all your friends and let yourself get Blood Bound to Lydia to join the Camarilla. Soulless and alone in my penthouse. Dark and poetic.

Short length isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just means I'll probably blitz through a few more playthroughs of A Time of Monsters to see the other endings and the save points certainly help with that. I just want an ending where I can take Fleur with me to be Camarilla lapdogs

The housing crisis keeps people from being able to leave abusive situations. Not being able to afford to rent a room on their own, or not wanting to move their kids into a homeless refuge for months if not years.
Or not being able to move away after breaking up with an ex who is stalking you.

HTR A Time of Monsters is an enjoyable game, but really the main draw of it for me is being set hyperlocally in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. When it comes to the World of Darkness COG games, The Beast of Glenkildove and The Book of Hungry Names still have my whole heart.

HTR A Time of Monsters is an enjoyable game, but really the main draw of it for me is being set hyperlocally in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. When it comes to the World of Darkness COG games, The Beast of Glenkildove and The Book of Hungry Names still have my whole heart.
one thing I appreciated about SF: I barely saw christmas stuff while I was there, and there were still pumpkins up!! yay!! (although I suspect this has to do with american thanksgiving)
