Man, I sure coulda used this as a lad. I mean, I still have deficits in traditional manly knowledge…
I love this idea. My dad died when I was three and I had to figure out simple things like how to tie a tie and even shave on my own. Please retweet this because I know there are a lot of kids out there who could use some help with day to day life.

Chanel approaching 4th, San Francisco

Possibly queued for a Billie Eilish show at Chase Center ~half mile away.

The light rail train on 4th seen passing in front of this roboherd has more passenger capacity than all of them combined.

Ideological engineering is expensive! It costs a lot to change an ideology and produce worse educational outcomes.

Apparently, it costs about $70M to drop 60 spots in the college rankings.

WE WON. I am *begging* you to take note of who did this. *Not* UCLA admin—they’re still scuttling around behind closed doors, attempting to appease—but FACULTY AND STAFF, led by AAUP.
BREAKING: In AAUP et al v. Trump (wall-to-wall union lawsuit challenging the administration’s unlawful use of TItle VI to reshape the University of California system), the faculty and staff of the UC system WON!!!

Again, this is an existential crisis for the entire financial & academic model of 🇺🇸 public universities, but the public doesn’t understand this, in part because our leaders have been on this issue. It’s maddening:

Another good 🧵 on the crazy talk coming from NIH leadership re COVID response.
NIH directors have pointed to below estimates as evidence that Sweden was 'best in the world at protecting human life' for COVID (www.city-journal.org/article/nih-...). But plot doesn't show what they apparently think it shows - and there is a big red flag that immediately jumps out... 🧵
