Caixin: "China’s exports of new-energy vehicles surged 89.4% year-on-year to 1.76 million units in the first nine months of 2025. The export frenzy underscores a broader challenge: stiff domestic competition and significant overcapacity."

It’s perversely funny that he literally talks about “small, mom-and-pop lenders” as if that’s a thing, and that thing is not called loansharking.

Musk explicitly endorses a world view of “Whites have to kill blacks or else they will kill us.”

This was just today:
Musk endorses a racist kill or be killed world view.

It is ridiculous also because secondary SANCTIONS against Chinese companies reinforce primary sanctions but secondary TARIFFS are taxes on Americans. And 500% will never happen (would wreck USA economy by ending all imports from China)

After 9 months will pass something that will never happen 🤷‍♂️

A family member died recently and I'm his executor. I've learned some things. The credit cards that will be easiest for your family to deal with after you die will be American Express, Citi, and Capital One. The absolute fucking worst will be Synchrony and Apple Card; both are totally uncooperative.

My mom was an executor for her aunt and she had major issues closing a card because one of the companies that was on autopay refused to close the account w/o a lot of extra info and the credit card kept reopening the card every month & said they would sue if she didn’t pay it

Again, it is a full-blown federal felony crime for anyone in the White House or Executive Office of the President to order tax investigations into anyone.

And it's not just a crime to DO it, it's even a federal crime for an employee not to REPORT such an order to the Treasury Inspector General.
26 U.S. Code § 7217 - Prohibition on executive branch influence over taxpayer audits and other investigations
U.S. Code
Notes

(c)Exceptions
Subsection (a) shall not apply to any written request made—
(1)to an applicable person by or on behalf of the taxpayer and forwarded by such applicable person to the Internal Revenue Service;
(2)by an applicable person for disclosure of return or return information under section 6103 if such request is made in accordance with the requirements of such section; or
(3)by the Secretary of the Treasury as a consequence of the implementation of a change in tax policy.
(d)Penalty
Any person who willfully violates subsection (a) or fails to report under subsection (b) shall be punished upon conviction by a fine in any amount not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment of not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution.

I have a lot of respect for Zolan Kanno-Youngs and @haleaziz.bsky.social and have talked to both many times in the past. That the Times lets them be so blunt about what is happening with the U.S. refugee admissions program is a good sign of how much the Trump admin is not even trying to deny it.

The Trump administration is considering a radical overhaul of the U.S. refugee system that would slash the program to its bare bones while giving preference to English speakers, white South Africans and Europeans who oppose migration, according to documents obtained by The New York Times.

The proposals, some of which already have gone into effect, would transform a decades-old program aimed at helping the world’s most desperate people into one that conforms to Mr. Trump’s vision of immigration — which is to help mostly white people who say they are being persecuted while keeping the vast majority of other people out.

Just a deep, dark cesspool of corruption like we’ve never seen before in US history at every single agency and level of government. Republicans in Congress continue to ignore all of it and if people still care about having a Republic they will vote them out as soon as they can.

This exchange lends a ton of support to this New York Times story from January that the White House previously denied. Trump reportedly joked in 2024 that Stephen Miller wants to purge the country of anyone who doesn't look like him — and Trump fully supports what he is doing.
“He has the president’s complete trust,” said Mr. McCarthy. “Trump’s complained about everyone. Never him.”
Mr. Trump may not complain about Mr. Miller, but he does occasionally poke at his obsession with immigrants — a hostility that goes far beyond Mr. Trump’s. In one meeting during the 2024 campaign, Mr. Trump said that if it was up to Mr. Miller there would be only 100 million people in this country, and they would all look like Mr. Miller, according to a person with knowledge of the comment. Karoline Leavitt, Mr. Trump’s spokeswoman, denied the account.

This isn’t even close to a plan! Why is this being reported as a “five year plan” when it’s a series of vague ideas?
OpenAI is working on new revenue lines, debt partnerships and further fundraising as part of a five-year plan to make good on the more than $1tn in spending it has pledged to create world-leading artificial intelligence.
OpenAI is planning on deals to serve governments and businesses with more bespoke products, creating more income from new shopping tools, and new sales from its video creation service Sora and AI agents, said multiple people familiar with the start-up’s efforts.
These people said it is exploring “creative” plans to raise new debt that can help it build out its AI infrastructure, while considering becoming a supplier of computing resources via its data centre initiative Stargate.
It is also weighing ways to cash in on its intellectual property by developing new AI infrastructure, making forays into online advertising and plans to launch consumer hardware products, including a new AI-powered personal assistant device, with former Apple star designer Jony Ive.

It should be a litmus test for Democratic presidential primary candidates whether they will restore the White House and DC public properties to exactly the way they were before the Palm Beach lounge lizard decided to turn it into Mar-a-Lago meets 1936 Nuremberg.
