Yakima Washington? Like from the hit children’s sitcom directed by famous sex pest Dan Snyder and aired on Nickelodeon iCarly starring Miranda Cosgrove and Jeanette McCurdy? Wow real life really mimics fiction sometimes. Wholesome 100.

Read every word & share with everyone you know. This is real life here in Chicago. Americans need to know this grotesque reality & stand with us.
Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.
He is a computer safety researcher.
And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.
In under 1600 words.

Sen. Angus King on why Democrats caved: "It wasn't working."
I still can’t quite believe that a group of good for nothing idiots threw away any tiny bit of leverage that the democrats had for literally nothing. Absolutely useless opposition party,
The democrats deserve to lose for this but unfortunately the only other option is fascism. It’s fucked.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Funilly enough one of the main issue with privately funded science being so intertwined with financial interest of large companies is that all of these ai companies keep releasing scientific papers with headlines implying consciousness or some other thing, because doing so makes line go up.

I remember back in the day, Elon was hyping people up by overpromising things like new car models and constantly moving goalposts for full self driving. His hype was stupid to anyone paying attention but it was grounded in what Tesla as a business was making at least.
Most of the Tesla shareholder proposals are like "Tesla is an incredible company, but maybe we should make sure we have some basic accountability or make sure we aren't exploiting child labor" and the board recommends against all of them
