In two weeks we'll be holding the third annual Fishmas: a competition in which people simultaneously blind-compete to catch the biggest fish in a fishing game to win a free hat.

to the excitement of nobody but me: the weird number plate that drove past me last year that looked like a normal uk one with the tajikistan flag on the side was actually a uk one with a *kurdistan* flag sticker stuck on the side, as i finally saw it whilst parked so got to have a proper look

it's a shame that the "delayed reaction" part of autism is typically related to sadness/trauma, like what about listening to an album not thinking much about it in the moment and then a couple weeks later your brain's suddenly like "oh yeah that was good!"
