Very sad. With this out in the open from the person now obviously in charge of the instruments of the Executive, at least the domestic portfolio, and with an effective takeover of the Sup Ct and all depts and agencies, the Nation is fully in the hands of a fascist regime. What are we to do now ! ?

Political groups that use a term like Antifa to mean what it means, Anti-fascist, differ from centrally organized criminal gangs that enforce their will by torture and killings. Wait, which is closer to DT's MAGA administration?

Don't want to be slick, so thank you. I think I understand where you are coming from and that's OK. There are as many points of views on the Israeli and Arab struggles as there are those engaged with it.

None of the four hateful posts you screen captured and sent in a response to me have anything to do with suggesting my comment was wrong. There are hateful people. There are people who say hateful things particularly on social networks. And, there are well-meaning "sheep" I am happy to hang with.

It's not as if the State of Israel didn't know how to mount its own influence campaign, how to get allies in the US to motivate support particularly in the government. They were very successful: billions in munitions, punishing universities, targeting protestors, stoping food assistance etc...

In my experience, after the kidnappings and killings by Hamas and as the posters went up, the only people tearing down posters were Palestinian activists - - much different from the students and others who later acted with outrage about the scope of the IDF retaliation, not that they retaliated.

@admiralmpj.bsky.social Need to seperate goats from sheep. Many were simply outraged at IDF's mass destruction of civilians, women, children and non-combatants, journalists, hospitals, schools, places of prayer. Most were also outraged at the attacks by Hamas that started it all. Emotions are raw.

It's the assinine "chuckle, chuckle, chuckle" that should, probably does, let women in America understand that this administration belittles all women and only admits those who perform for their behalf in dress, attitude and willingness to submit to their whims and support them as "just being boys."

Comey presents a twisted "case" in terms of supporting his defense because some of his behavior at the least in other respects has been ill-advised. But hoping the James case goes the distance to an un-appealable acquittal which is the best way to shove it back at the DOJ and their client, DT.

Not "Half" and not even close to half. Because evil and meanness and inhumanity are so impactful they appear to be larger and at times insurmountable, while decency, compassion and love of others tend to work quietly, deeply and with subtlety.

In court papers DOJ attorneys have admitted that troops are not deployed or to be deployed for crime reduction. Their sole mission is protection of ICE operations - - -aka with my editorial views: further violent performative attacks on immigrant groups to terrorize them into self-deportation.

Then there's the fact that people aged 79 don't live that much longer in general (yes many exceptions for people who don't eat McDonalds as their basic meal) and dementia is progressive. DT has made it all about him. No him, no that. If JD Vance tries the same bullshit, it will be 10.5%.

The story is huge and would be Pulitzer material not to mention a Hollywood deal. So really makes no sense. And assuming the S. Carolina authorities are slow walking because they have an inkling that's what they need to do makes the story all the more attractive to what used to be the press.
