I feel like I defeated Thanksgiving this year. Delivered my perfect menu - ruthlessly streamlined to the purer essentials. Everything turned out exactly like I hoped it would.

One of the great tragedies of the 90s comic implosion was that amazing stuff like "Tyrant" couldn't find enough of a foothold to sustain what was intended to be a long, epic run.
The issues that did come out remain some of my absolute favorites and I am crossing my fingers hoping for more some day.

My theory is that - for a lot of Boomers - all that mattered was grievance-based opposition to social norms and they've carried that central trait forward.
The modern GOP is nearly pure grievance, so the fit make sense.
