They filed a missing person’s report & begged the public to help find him

Turns out he was in a Houston ICE detention facility

At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about the costumes. They run the risk of trivializing a serious issue: ICE’s brutality.

But the costumes make it really hard— impossible— for the right wing propagandists to paint them as violent. They couldn’t hold a weapon or fight. They’re peaceful.

There’s no single medical establishment, and definitely no clear plan for what to do without CDC.

States could make their own vaccine rec’s and do surveillance, but some of what CDC does needs to be coordinated at scale.

AZ has significant health infrastructure (Which would help).
