Been thinking a lot about all my drawing classes back in college and it bothers me a bit I only had like two professors who'd actually stop me in my tracks and go "this won't cut it." Like yeah you can improve with sheer volume but you can also waste so much time fumbling in the dark like that

Time to learn how to set up a VAC so I can actually stream my interface audio with no latency. It'd probably be easier to literally mike my actual amplifier instead of routing through amplitube but no I've made my bed

I'm grateful the generated imagery for historic illustration is so consistent with the oppressive color grading cause otherwise it's a slog trying to find the real stuff to actually save to my reference folder

Something I haven't been conscious of that this tablet is really forcing me to face is the real world scale I've been drawing at for the past few years. I'm used to minimal wrist movement and having a surface larger than that to use freely is causing my fundamentals to fall apart
