I think every environment where a child is engaged can be used as a brilliant learning opportunity and teach everything on the curriculum. I don’t mean visiting Disney as most of us do, of course! There have have to be lessons in the park, and as follow up.

Sorry but do you genuinely think going to Disney World "4 to 5 times a week" is conducive to learning even the most fundamental skills of reading, writing and arithmetic? Let alone science, history, geography, art, music, or even physical education? Truly, I am asking.

It doesn’t look as though many of us will be able to sigh with relief. Even if we do, guess what else is coming? Huge winds to rip through our towns. Why? You know the rest. Guess who the haters will hate next? The people who will be displaced in the UK. There will be thousands and thousands.

I think of all the soldiers who fought fascism, who died and were injured, who made brave sacrifices in WW11. How betrayed they would feel. To see the King of England in a horrible charade with POTUS at a banquet and witness Prime Minister acting like a weasel type Uriah Heep shames me.

To accept that a Jewish state was committing genocide and that the government in Westminster was aiding them, to some extent, sickened me in a place deep inside. Now my anger bubbles out. I weep often. I feel a betrayal. I am frustrated that I cannot do more to help the people in Gaza.

Like many people, it was very hard for me to change from the mindset I had, that we must protect our Jewish friends and neighbours. To allow the thoughts to creep in that a Jewish state, Israel, was treating Palestinians very poorly was a difficult transition. It started slowly , many years ago.

I think that anything that children enjoy can be turned into a learning experience, yes. I don’t know what those parents do, but, eg, if they visited for two hours and then did some lessons on the things they saw, you could incorporate every single subjects a child needs.
