One of the last things I was expecting was a bushfire in Olympic Park, just around the block from my apartment.
Fortunately it was extinguished fairly quickly, but still kinda scary, especially when the wind picked up lol.

The Commonwealth Housing Commission's final report is quite an interesting look into the war-time approach to a housing crisis of nearly identical conditions as that of today. War-time experience had seen governments confident in their ability to supplement market economics with central planning. 🧵

It is nice to see class consciousness amongst people gradually growing, as pitting workers against each other (many times, quite literally) has been one of capitalism's greatest weapons for protecting itself.
I hope to see the proletariat at large become organised.

I got to participate in a pretty interesting event today! A community BBQ out in Croydon! I got to shake hands with my local member for Reid and the Member for Strathfield, and then a lovely speech from the Minister for Indigenous Australians herself, reminding us what the Voice is actually about. ❤️

Something I got to participate in recently was a political debate, Young Labor v. Young Liberal!
It was my first exposure to such a thing, and I got to do some heckling from the gallery of the NSW Legislative Assembly. :D
Though, I got genuinely mad listening to anti-union garbage of the Libs. >:/
