Idk if this'll be a fire emblem I ever return to as I imagine minor annoyances would magnify to major ones but it's a great first playthru
Captures the promise of large scale battles spanning nearly entire countries about as well as FE on the SNES could and that's cool

No amount of "using Est archetype characters is more trouble than it's worth" discussion will deter me from trying to get a Thief Fighter in my first playthru of FE4 but god is it hard to feed kills to the thieves in this game

I dislike the term too, I can only associate "robot" with the term and genAI isn't robots! it's math!! Statistics and data sets hosted on energy grid destroying data centers!! The only thing that could be going "clank" in this scenario is someone tipping over the server racks

The only reason I rolled creds on it was cuz I got it for christmas and I wasn't of money earning capabilities yet, I really truly tried to like this game and nope not a single reason to enjoy it

Holy shit it isn't just the annoying unredeemable characters, boring setting reuse, plot that falls apart at the slightest thought, shallow monster party member mechanics, the the etc etc

Might be an even worse game somewhere in my lifetime cuz I until I was in college I was really really uncritical about anything I experienced but even so, Tales of Symphonia 2 stands out to me as uniquely bad even in my uncritical mindset
