My problem is that our leaders are having a twitter feud while two year olds are being tear gassed in their streets.

Federal agents have been intimidating us over our reporting since June. Attacks on the press didn't start this month.

In the last several weeks, we've witnessed a horrifying escalation of violence against protesters, neighbors, anyone who comes near these agents. They are out of control.

Luckily, computers aren't sentient. And they never will be. But the fact that people THINK they own sentient creatures and aren't troubled by that idea is... deeply worrying

One thing to bear in mind here is that the union that represents the wide majority of Chicago police earlier this year dedicated the cover and a good chunk of the inside of its magazine for members to praising Tom Homan and ICE.

I’m so struck by this video. A regular day in Logan Square in front of a grocery store and ICE pulls up and tear gassed people. Funston Elementary School is right across the street as well. This is a major corridor in Logan Sq. No concern for human safety
