When I was a kid, almost everything in school came easy, & when it didn't, I still kept up no problem. But calc made my brain swirl, I really had to focus to get it. College was a lot of that. It was hard, it was thrilling, it really was like pushing a physical limit. There's no substitute.
Believe me, least effort for best results was my whole HS ethos. But it's also really good that I got to college having done harder things than were strictly necessary to get in.

I've said for awhile that #1 in this list is a relatively easy lift (logical, easy to explain).
I like #2, no idea how feasible (in terms of politics). #3 is a good follow-on.

SCOTUS should have 13 members, one each from each district.
Districts should elect their SCOTUS representative by 2/3 vote to serve a 5 year term after which point they return to their District Court seat.
SCOTUS Justices are DC Judges and are covered by same ethics rules.

I'm going to keep saying this in my effort to speak it into reality: Supreme Court should have at least 100 Justices with rotating panels (and maybe an en banc option). No single Justice should have so much power and they shouldn't be names everyone knows.

One of my least favorite aspects of social media is how a large account can frame something in a mistaken or bad faith fashion, and their followers will be unable to view that material in any other light, and will compete amongst themselves to come up with the most intensely agreeing response.

I worked for Frank Gehry. Because of him, I went to The Simpsons Halloween party, had a key to the Disney Concert Hall, met amazing artists. Frank was wonderful to me. When I left his office, he said you'll do big things, just try to stay out of politics. Sorry, Frank. Your memory is a blessing ❤️
