It will take all the scientists, intellectuals, and all the major institutions decades or more to figure out why so many humans are so vulnerable to lies and absolute nonsense that hurts their lives.

Makes one wonder if a government “of the people“ is rational idea.

Actual farmers only about 2% of the population.
It’s the larger FARM community and all of its Rotary clubs and businesses and churches and rural folk culture that sustains the right wing God-driven voting.

We ought to think about why seeing pristine nature like this is beautiful to us… and why it gives us good feelings.
Hint: Over about 5M yrs our species grew up in a living world undamaged by factories, smokestacks, noisy, highways, crowded cities… all built ostensibly to make our lives better.

Animal activists go down a rabbit hole pursuing “rights.” It is a human construct propped up by centuries of philosopher drivel in academese barely comprehensible in any language.
Animal enslavement is harmful to all, including us.

We humans today are so frazzled and fractured by the disintegration of our institutions that we are at war with each other. Hateful. Bigoted. Violent.
We are starved for affection and companionship.
Lonely in a living world that we are surely destroying.
If only we could find a sense of kinship.
