This is appalling. I can say with certainty that Steve Jobs would be ashamed of Tim Cook at this terrible moment, one of many these days, and he has sullied the last year of his tenure and the Apple brand by his craven need to please shareholders over holding onto some basic values of decency.

I lost my son and 13 of my friends to gang violence. I know how to stop it.
Crime is down because we invested in what works: community-based solutions driven by those most impacted who can prevent violence before it happens.
