The Florida House just passed a bill that would lower the age to buy rifles and other long guns from 21 to 18.

This would rollback lifesaving reform passed after 17 people were killed in the 2018 school shooting in Parkland, FL. We can’t afford to move backwards.

Instead, it sparked a movement that is still saving lives today — powered by survivors, strengthened by lawmakers, and made possible by Gabby’s extraordinary leadership.

HORRIFIC: An ICE agent fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis, MN who was observing an operation from her car.

ICE and the Trump admin’s inhumane immigration policies are creating fear and endangering communities. We must reject gun violence in all forms.

@governorwalz.mn.gov has always worked to keep Minnesotans safe from gun violence.

He’s taken on the gun lobby and won — expanding background checks and passing extreme risk protection orders that Minnesotans demanded.

We’re grateful for his leadership.
Minnesota has to come first - always.

Today, I’m proud of the work we’ve done to make Minnesota the best place to live and raise kids.

I’ve decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work.

We can’t allow gun violence to continue plaguing American communities.

Gun violence in America is a policy choice.

Year after year, our experts find that states with better gun laws have lower gun death rates. Yet tens of thousands of Americans continue to die every year, because some states refuse to take action. It’s long past time they put safety first.

The gun industry sells fear, especially to women.

Its manipulative marketing tactics only serve gun CEO profits and their dangerous agenda. This makes us all less safe.

For Brown University students Mia Tretta and Zoe Weissman, last week’s mass shooting wasn’t their first.

At 15, Mia was shot at Saugus High School, and at 12, Zoe lived through the shooting in Parkland. If this isn’t a wake up call, we don’t know what is.
