They really are so against education. If there was one iota of them that supported public education, the language would be inappropriate, but it is not so. I think the FATWO phrase is definitely apt. If it is FATWO for kids, teachers, women, people of color, LGBTQ, anti-oligarchs, I'm there for it.

If you don't believe in Mamdani's policies but you are Democrat, don't outright ostracize him. Instead, embrace him & try to get stuff done with him and people of his ilk (DSA or whatever). A show of unity is strength. It's really a huge amount of what these "centrists" need to do. But they refuse.

Watching the Alabama solution on Netflix. In the documentary which is great one of the prisoners says "they want to see us divided. The last thing they want to see is us come together." We need to stop pissing contest of grievances & come together under common cause to resist tyranny and oligarchy.

What I'm still not getting about the discussion with these consultants is that Harris did run as a centrist and it didn't work. I believe it was bc she is a black woman and bs she seems inauthentic (I voted for her). This idea of "be more like them" isn't going to work except maybe be white male.

Immigrant families are huge but that is bad. Big, white families are good. I'm not sure wtf his family is - special, I guess. Every thing these assholes say doesn't apply to them. Why don't they just straight up respond to propaganda? Educate folks. "Hey! when they say something about bathrooms they're not offering u solutions on yr healthcare & housing costs." It's pretty GD simple. Some ppl do this, Tim Walz comes to mind. But, EVERYONE, needs to do it. That's what Rs do.

Make no mistake: Republicans would come back to DC in a nanosecond if ending the shutdown meant more tax breaks for billionaires, handouts to big banks, or giveaways to the insurance industry.

When I was a stoned teenager I remember one afternoon recording ourselves (on cassette tape!) talking because we thought it was so funny. It wasn't funny, intelligent or really worth listening to ever again. That's what I think of when I think of Joe Rogan.

Yes. In relation to media's dereliction of duty, I think how there is this huge push to get women out of the workforce and back in the home by the Republicans and mainstream media is not even touching it. Ppl s/b way more upset about it but I don't think they're hearing about it. But the poor men!
