Chicago launched a program this year that lets police file felony gun charges without getting a prosecutor’s approval. Two of the police officers who have overseen many cases under this program have 59 misconduct complaints between them.

Kyrie Eleison (Mr. Mister version)
If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on, now
'Cause there's too many places I've got to see

But if I stay here with you, girl
Things just couldn't be the same

'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you cannot change

Tehran is a city of ten million people in a location that has been settled for six thousand years. Its survival as a city is now threatened by drought.

The potential relocation of the capital of Iran could be destabilizing to the Iranian regime, which would have major geopolitical implications.

“Nvidia Gives Strong Forecast, Countering Fears of AI Bubble”

I very much disagree with this framing. People buying lots of Nvidia GPUs tells us nothing about the eventual ROI on those GPUs.

In fact, a bubble effectively <requires> “too many” of these to be bought.

I can't remember the precise wording but someone on here said that the Republican threat to expose Bill Clinton too isn't so much a threat as it is a "buy one, get one free" promotion.
"This could take down Democrats, too."

I know. And I frankly wouldn't give even an itty bitty damn if it implicated every Democratic man in Congress, every Democratic hopeful for 2028 and every Democrat who has even thought about running for office.
