Leider kein Einzelfall. Grausame Pushbacks und unterlassene Hilfeleistung - immer wieder verletzt Griechenland das Recht auf Leben.

October moths

Even now it’s not too late to cling to the last remnants of summer and go looking for moths. These are some of the species that can still be seen in Finland & elsewhere in Northern Europe, drawn after my own photos.
Top view illustrations of six species of geometer moths. They all have intricate patterns and different colours: moss green, grey and pale pink, rufous and tan, cold grey, warm orange-brown.
Weather is grey and cold in Berlin - our moth are not. October is still a great season with many very nice species on the wing. #teammoth, #moth, #stadtnatur, #berlinbiodiversity, #berlin, #urbanbiodiversity

Exactly this 👇.

If Palestinians are forced to choose between genocide and apartheid,
between occupation and ethnic cleansing,
that is not a 'peace deal'.

It is yet another racist neocolonial scam to enrich wealthy western interests, while rewarding war criminals and their enablers.
Interesting, its similar to Instagram as far as i undrrstood

Not very easy to find Craterellus cornucopioides, Totentrompete, around Berlin as we have mostly sour soils. But there are places and then there are many. Yesterday we had a nice success. Very lecker!

At my last day in Greece, I visited the late Bronze Age palace of Mycenae. Two cool lichens sticks out, Bagliettoa marmorea and (maybe) Lichinella nigritella.

Happy UK Fungus Day! All of these were photographed by me in the UK. Aren’t they beautiful!

Lots of different coloured mushrooms in a whole range of different shapes and sizes. Some look like coral, others like cauliflowers or little cream coloured balls. There are some that look like jellies or turkey’s tails.

New in @science.org, meet Acronichthys maccagnoi, a new species from Late Creatacous Canada that changes what we know about the origins and evolution of one of the most successful fish groups on Earth.
Potentially, this is Enchylium tenax, Zähe Leimflechte, in Leonidio/Greece. A lichen that is associated with Nostoc algae. Rather small species that is very common on raw soils
Peribatodes umbraria and Problepsis ocellata, my highlights last night. The last mothing in Greece this year. #moth, #teammoth
