Good morning.
I don't know who did this, but I love you.
Definitely London as well.

I love the fact that his Arabic is so Egyptian Arabic. ❤️
When he calls the cat 'ya basha' ❤️

Lol. I mean, I can think of better Turkish novels in translation that they could read too but who knows, maybe reading this one will get them searching out more.

Also, I think the popularity might have something to do with it being a very short book.

For all the (lack of) coverage it's received, you could be forgiven for not knowing that Israel invaded Syria, occupied several hundred square miles, and is now deploying its West Bank tactics to cut Syrian villages off from each other.
Syria: for the first time, Israeli troops closed a road between 2 villages in Quneitra province with an -unmanned - iron barrier, along the border fence with the Golan

The one call to action people could amplify is a trade and arms embargo on the UAE until they stop arming and supporting the RSF. The UAE is one of Canada and the US’ biggest trading partners in the MENA region.

It's almost like the genocidal maniac wanted to be able to kill more people, so he suggested that they return to (what's left of) their homes before throwing some more bombs at them. There is no punishment too great for this man and everyone who has enabled this atrocity again and again.

BREAKING: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the military to carry out “powerful” strikes in Gaza.
Ohh...I thought it was 50k!

Blame Fitzcarraldo! They're doing their best to turn the Anglophone world into readers, who love 120-150pg novels.
LOL. I like to see it as a delightful sign we're all becoming more continental European where a 40k novel has always been a novel not a novella.
Kind of funny that publishing solved the problem of people not buying novellas or story collections by simply calling them "novels." It totally works. Turns out people just really like the word "novel" I guess.

While the top UAE backed RSF genocidaires are wined and dined at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington DC, people are fighting for their lives in El Fashir under siege. This is partly enabled by US/Quad diplomacy and impunity.
I know. 😂I'm renowned for refusing to replace things until they collapse.
