Anybody else notice the Dropout Game Changer loop de loop in episode 3 of the gay hockey show…because the first book in the series that follows these characters is called…Game Changer? Surely it can’t be coincidence. Shout out to the set dressers.

Y'all this past week I've seen some baffling takes on Heated Rivalry by people who have zero knowledge or enjoyment of romance novels, romance narratives, or sex scenes as a storytelling device. "Uh where's the romance? Why are they boning so much???"

I’m starting 2 new ttrpgs in the new year, Monster of the Week and Daggerheart. We’re in the character creation phase for both and I’m getting excited to see what we come up with. As with all my characters, they will be chaotic bisexual. Moral alignment tbd but also probably chaotic.

Me: I’m heating apple cider…
I did a simmer pot for Samhain and will do another for Yule. At least he’s supportive 😆

My most boomer opinion (back in my day, etc) is that remote learning days are crap and kids should just be allowed to have snow days.

A nice unintended consequence of having to go to the grocery store is that I bought the things to make a nice charcuterie board to snack on just for us. Meats and cheeses continues to be my love language.

PAXU Day 3! Definitely moving slowly today, but have played great games and got some swag from some cool booths. Dice bought: Just 2! I got this set of d6s cause they fit thematically with my Masks character and, though our game is ending soon, I’ll always remember when I was briefly Nimue.
