Not a true Oak, but a Casuarina. Older than the dinosaurs and dripping in sweet nectar, native to eastern Australia and sadly considered an environmental weed in it’s indigenous habitat

Furthermore they completely removed the drawing/sketching of physical design documents from the program in favour of CAD and I still resent them for it
When I went to college the boomer instructors had fully given themselves over to the idea that we all have a super computer in our pockets these days and I had to press them constantly to put me and my classmates “through the motions” of learning how to do everything with our brains first 🫠

When I went to college the boomer instructors had fully given themselves over to the idea that we all have a super computer in our pockets these days and I had to press them constantly to put me and my classmates “through the motions” of learning how to do everything with our brains first 🫠

This will probably come off as self righteous but idc, I turned off autocorrect and predictive text over 5 years ago to preserve my ability to spell without a smart device and I’ve never looked back. I don’t even know the impact but I could feel my mind dulling and I hated it
