October marks the start of the olive harvest in Palestine, a culturally significant and, usually, joyous occasion.

Israeli settlers - backed by soldiers - have stolen crops, cut down trees, attacked, and in some cases severely injured, Palestinian olive-pickers - *every day* this week.

The United Nations has a warrant out for the arrest of the prime minister of Israel. He should not have been allowed to speak at the UN— but when he stood up at the podium, nearly everyone walked out. Each delegate represents a Nation. The world is against genocide.

The solar farm that the Admin just cancelled could have produces 6.2 GW of power. That's more than 3 Hoover Dams.

I really think people who used to work in coal or are currently in renewables need to speak to friends and family who are in the coal industry and tell them about the fields they work in. So much safer and viable in the long run than coal by astronomical numbers.
