I’m a reasonable man get off my case.
Recently travelled to Chch with some friends. The businessman in front of me at the bar ordered a coffee (it was around 8am) and I then ordered 4 bloody Mary’s. he looked at me, then looked at the lady behind the bar and said ‘can you make that five?’

Much respect.
I order a latte. The lady next to me orders two martini espressos. Local time is 0730. Yes I am at an airport why do you ask?

Great podcast that analyses the Joe Rogan podcast and breaksdown the misinformation in each episode. This one is on Peter Theil and shows what a charlatan the guy is. A little embarrassing clip on his NZ citizenship is also mentioned. open.spotify.com/episode/2W36...

His playbook is so obvious that next he will start inferring that Rarotonga should be a NZ province and that we should have a tariff war with Aus.

Hope this clown isn’t on Signal.

Decided about six months ago to enter the stock market for the first time, using the Sharesies app. I gave myself $1k, spread it over 5 NZ companies.

In only six months I’ve already lost $150!

Better than Teslas stock at least.

Just looked at X for the first time in ages. Heaps of new followers. Looked through them all. All fake. All pro Trump or Elon. Some pretending to be kiwi tradies or similar.

What a ridiculous platform that is now.

This is Simeon Brown effectively giving everyone in the Wairarapa the middle finger. And where is our electorate MP in all of this? Nowhere to be seen.

Fucking appalling.

Insufferable bullshit.

Higher unemployment. People leaving NZ in record numbers. Massive Construction sector losses (Fletcher loss blamed on massive demand reduction).

Management speak is all well and good but you get nowhere by simply cancelling everything.

Walk the fucking walk.

For Gen X or older. This is an image from one of the most successful ad campaigns in the 80s (Jif). ‘Cleans and shines without hard scratching’

What the hell was kind of boot was this that was scratching the surface? Never made sense to me.

Follow me for more riveting and relevant posts.

-Willis knew nothing about ferries when she cancelled the order
-Peter’s approved of the iRex ferries in 2020 as SOE minister and wrote enthusiastically about them
-Peter’s is now once again in charge
-No plan in place
-Luxon and Willis can now blame him when budget blows out

I buy my brown onions from the self checkout but call it fillet steak because I like to give back to the struggling supermarkets.

We just had a heat pump/air con unit installed in our bedroom and boy it has changed our lives. Wairarapa summers are hot.

That is all.

The most frustrating experience on twitter is watching seemingly intelligent people you’ve followed for years slowly go further down the rabbit hole. To the point where some farmer living in paradise is now frothing against Bill Gates vaccinating animals. I mean, what?

My son’s girlfriend came in today asking what the horrible high pitched noise was when walking into our gate. We went out and found this (pointed at our entrance). I couldn’t hear anything (age I guess) but both her and my son said it’s an awful sound.
What do you suggest I do?

Right. Just packed the $150k camping van with wine and cheese and am about to leave for Wellington to park up at Parliament to join the occupying protestors.

Wait, they’ve already gone? You mean it was a respectful protest and they cleaned up after themselves?

Pfft.

Building something for a farmer client at the moment who leans right. He started talking about the Hikoi yesterday and I thought ‘here we go’. Turns out he’s all for it. Absolutely disgusted with Seymour’s bill.

I reckon Seymour has totally mis-read the room on this one.

Whenever I’ve watched QT at parliament I’m astounded by the braying, the sarcasm, the insults and the way our MPs act as if it’s a school yard.

But no, it’s Te Pati Māori that’s now brought parliament into disrepute 🙄

Go to Waitangi. Take the tour with the people that know the history. Look at the receipts.

Then get to me.

There’s a lot we weren’t taught in school.
